Now a days what i feel is that all the IT guys are more fond of learning a particular tool rather than learning java,.net etc.Every aspect of life is automated or automation is in progress so now or then every thing needs to be the same.Learning a tool which is in boom or new in market will help people not only to get attractive packages but it will also increase their knowledge diversity.Its very popular now-a-days to learn a particular tool stick to it for some years learn another new tool in market and switch your platform.If you are deeply interested to develop or do some modification in a particular tool then with very ease you can switch your career or role towards the company which has developed the particular tool.
